Cedomatec inc. guarantees its polyurethane insulated aluminium garage doors against oxidation perforation for a lifetime period.

10-Year Warranty against rust perforation
Cedomatec inc. guarantees its insulated and non insulated steel garage doors against rust perforation for a period of ten (10) years.

5-Year Paint Warranty
Cedomatec inc. guarantees the original paint on its aluminium garage doors
against peeling for a period of five (5) years. Cedomatec inc. guarantees the original paint on its steel garage doors against peeling for a period of one (1) year.

Warranty against delamination -
Cedomatec inc. guarantees its insulated garage doors painted originally in white, ivory or grey for a period of five (5) years against delamination of the polyurethane or polystyrene from the steel or aluminium covering. Cedomatec inc. guarantees its insulated garage doors painted originally any other colour for a period of one (1) year against delamination of the polyurethane or polystyrene from the steel or aluminium covering.

Manufacturer's Warranty -
Cedomatec inc. guarantees its garage doors against manufacturing or material defect for a period of one (1) year. Cedomatec inc. guarantees its residential garage door hardware against manufacturing or material defect for a period of two (2) years. Cedomatec inc. guarantees all other residential CEDO products against manufacturing or material defect for a period of one (1) year.

Thermo Window Warranty -
Warranty against glass cracking is not valid after installation. Windows bear a five (5) year warranty against infiltration.

Doorlite Warranty -
Warranty against glass cracking is not valid after installation. Glazing bears a ten (10) year warranty against infiltration and metal breaking.

CEDO WARRANTY - COMMERCIAL DOORS, OR DOORS FOR COMMERCIAL OR INDUSTRIAL USE

Manufacturer's Warranty -
Cedomatec inc. guarantees its commercial, industrial and service station garage doors against any manufacturing or material defect for a period of one (1) year. Cedomatec inc. guarantees its commercial and industrial and garage door hardware against any manufacturing or material defect for a period of one (1) year. Cedomatec inc. guarantees all other commercial or CEDO products against any manufacturing or material defect for a period of one (1) year.

This Warranty is effective as of June 1, 1997. It cancels and replaces prior warranties.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

This is stating the only warranties applying to products sold by CEDOMATEC INC. The buyer of CEDO's products agrees to the present warranty as the only official warranty applicable to the purchase of CEDO's products, excluding in fact all other representation, warranty or condition, explicit or implied, made by any person, except in writing by an authorised agent of CEDOMATEC INC.

All claims must be submitted in writing with proof of purchase, within fifteen (15) days of the discovery of the suspected defect and within the period covered by the warranty, to :

Otherwise, the warranty will not apply

• The period covered by warranty only begins on date of purchase of the CEDO product at a CEDO authorised dealer or distributor.
• All these warranties benefit only the original purchaser of the product with the exception of the first year of any warranty.
• The above-mentioned warranties are valid provided it's proven that the product : is not altered; is stored, after shipping, in adequate conditions; is not broken or damaged due to improper or excessive use, fire, accident, vandalism, disaster or subject to neglectful operation; is used under normal conditions; is maintained and cleaned accordingly to CEDOMATEC INC. recommendations; has not sustained damages caused by foreign substances in the atmosphere such as radiation, condensation, harmful or corrosive fumes, saline fumes; and is installed according to our company's instructions, upon inspection by people authorized by CEDOMATEC INC.
• All five (5) years warranties (except the oxi dation or rust perforation) are residual, i.e. full coverage the first year and decreasing by 20% every subsequent year.
• CEDOMATEC's responsibility is limited to replace or otherwise restore any product or part that is defective depending on the need established by a CEDO's representative. The warranty on a repair or a replacement part is equal to the residual period of original product or part warranty.
• This warranty expressly excludes all: costs related to the transportation of the replacement product; installation and/or labour costs involved in replacing the product; paint costs related to a door which has been repainted by of for the consumer; costs for matching colours on replacement door sections; costs incurred by the user of CEDO products while exercising this warranty; incidental or consequential damages caused by or resulting from any defect in the CEDO products; costs relating to responsibility about models, materials or standard colour changes made by CEDOMATEC INC. and its suppliers since the date of purchase; damages resulting from causes beyond CEDOMATEC's control.
• CEDOMATEC INC. has the right to provide products of similar quality but of different colour to fulfil its obligations in the case where it may not be able to supply products of the same colour as the original, or if according to it, a door of a different colour may definitely solve the problem.
• The replaced product or part remains the property of CEDOMATEC INC. and must be returned at customer's expense upon request.
• This warranty grants you specific legal rights; you may also have other rights which vary from province to province, or from state to state. Some states do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply.
