AUTOMATED SPREADING SYSTEM

CEDO

Competition
|
For our polyurethane insulated doors, models D-4000, Progressive and F-1,
the insulation material is spread over the inside of open panel's overlays
using Cedomatec's exclusive automated lay-down system.
The conventional and widely used injection process might occasionally cause disturbance in
the polyurethane, which weakens the panel structure and lowers the insulation factor.
Cedomatec's exclusive and advanced process prevents the occurrence of air bubbles
in the insulation and provides optimum quality control since any defect will be
detectable before the panel is being sealed.
PATENTED JOINT
(Canadian patent #1287998 / US patent #4,854,365) -
No matter the insulating material, the garage door insulation's quality
also depends of the inter-section joints airtightness. Following addressing
problems caused by the insulation, Research & Development team members
looked into eliminating infiltration between panels.
They came up with a new and improved sectional joint, in a tongue and groove
shape with integrated thermal breaks at three different points, to take care
of all infiltration between sections and ensures a superior airtightness.
These joints became increasingly popular amongst the garage door industry professionals,
especially with the door installers, because they made their job a lot easier.
Since they overlap perfectly, one installer can install a CEDO door, instead of
the normal team of two. Besides, the inter-section joints have integrated
weather strips that are covered by a lifetime warranty. No need to say that
with all these good points, CEDO's patented joints form an unequalled thermal break.
INSULATION FACTOR R-17,09
Cedomatec's patented joints and exclusive polyurethane automated spreading
system allow us to offer the garage door with the highest insulation factor,
namely R-17.09, which nearly represents a new construction outer wall insulation factor.
A top insulation factor is of the utmost importance, mainly in the following situations:
your building includes a heated garage and must withstand winter weather; your building
has air conditioning and tolerate scorching weather; your garage doubles up as a workshop.
In any case you will benefit from choosing CEDO's polyurethane insulated doors.
You may choose between the steel D-4000, Progressive and the aluminum F-1, both
of which with the best energetic efficiency. Only Cedomatec offers you such a quality product.
HARDWARE WITH ADDED SECURITY
All extension spring hardware kits include security cables as a standard feature,
ensure yourself that they are well installed.
